Technical Assistance and Education Component |
The Pennsylvania Breast Cancer and Environmental Risk Factor (PA-BCERF) Project seeks to educate individuals from clinics and cancer coalitions in rural regions of Pennsylvania and New York about breast cancer and environmental risk. The clinics and coalitions, in turn, develop education programs for community members. The programs focus on increasing healthy behaviors, improving community health and clarifying for the public what is currently known, through reliable cancer research, about environmental risk factors.
The PA-BCERF project staff members want to help volunteers and professionals succeed with community health programming. This section of the website is designed to provide some program planning information. For a more extensive health program planning description, visit the National Cancer Institute Making Health Communications Programs Work website or the University of Kansas Community Tool Box website. Additional program planning websites are listed in our links section. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please contact us.
